Hydroponic Anthuriums

Part 1

Many of us began our journey in the realm of cannabis cultivation, with some of us immersing ourselves in Jorge Cervantes' authoritative guide on the subject. Drawing from my extensive experience in cannabis cultivation, I embarked on an experiment to apply my knowledge to the care of Anthuriums. The outcomes proved intriguing and has resulted in a birth of a passion for me.

like hydroponic cannabis, hydroponic Anthuriums thrive on a nutrient solution with higher parts per million (ppm) , along with a slightly elevated pH level. Unlike cannabis, Anthuriums do not require intense lighting, as they naturally thrive in low light  understory environments.

Achieving optimal growth with indoor hydroponic Anthuriums involves maintaining specific parameters: water temperature between 65-72 degrees Fahrenheit, pH levels ranging from 5.8 to 6.2, ppm levels between 800-1600, and employing carbon filtration to eliminate fluoride and chlorine from the water. Additionally, Atmospheric conditions play a crucial role, with temperatures ranging from 80 to 95 degrees Fahrenheit, humidity maintained between 80-95%, and a complete air exchange occurring twice daily. Moderate airflow over the leaves, facilitating movement without causing cooling damage, further optimizes growth conditions.
