Kaiju Goddess S1 — Beautiful Mutations, Wild Genetics & Pure Chaos

Some crosses are made for perfection. Others are made to push the boundaries of what an Anthurium can become. Kaiju Goddess S1 was created for the weirdos.

Kaiju Goddess is a self-pollination of a wild, highly complex-veined Anthurium originally owned by Shaina Peltavere. I acquired her around the same time as my Carla, The Beldam, and immediately saw something special in her genetics.

My goal with this batch was simple: create the craziest, most mutated, beautifully strange Anthuriums possible. And judging by what these seedlings are already showing, that’s exactly what’s happening.

We’re seeing variegation, blistering, minus sinuses, unusual leaf shapes, and some absolutely insane venation. The veins seem to jump across the foliage like jagged electricity or Venom spreading through a leaf. Every seedling seems to have its own personality, and that’s what makes this batch so exciting.

What really gets me is how early these traits are appearing. These plants are still young, yet they’re already expressing characteristics that make them stand out. As a breeder, that’s exactly what I want to see. There’s no telling how far some of these traits will develop as the plants mature.

The mother plant is massive, but surprisingly, this self produced a relatively small batch. That makes these S1 seedlings even more special.

Kaiju Goddess isn’t about creating another perfect Anthurium. It’s about celebrating the strange, the unexpected, and the beauty of genetic variation.

A limited number of Kaiju Goddess S1 seedlings are available through Anthurium Story. If you love the weird ones as much as I do, this is a batch worth getting your hands on.

Every Anthurium has a story. This one’s just a little stranger.
